When you see the Grant Woods parking lot, turn right and head north across Rollins Rd to enjoy the Grant Woods South Trail. Bring your bikes if you can. In front of the Grant Woods parking lot, you will also find a tiny lakefront park with a picnic table and a place to launch kayaks and boats. If you go two blocks to the left from the house, you will find a small sand beach with a floating dock, and a place to launch larger boats.

The dining table has chairs for 6 and the cozy kitchen has all the bowls, utensils, pans, cups, coffee maker, microwave, blender, stove and fridge. Oil, salt and pepper are also provided. The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second has a bunk bed (twin on top of full). Both bedrooms have TVs with a Sony Streaming Blu-Ray/DVD players with WiFi for streaming other entertainment platforms. Full bath has tub and shower. In the winter you might see the bravest kids playing in the snow and their dads snowing blowing their driveways. In the warmer months you'll likely hear and see children playing outside and smell the dads grilling outdoors. One of the longest bike trails (35 miles) of all of Chicago land called the Millennium Trail is among us and leads to nearby forest preserves. Go for a walk, run, or bike ride. (Need a bike or bike trailer. I maybe able to help you with that. Just ask.) Want to get to the city but don't want to deal with traffic and parking? There are 4 Chicago Metra stations within a 15 min drive. My preference is Prairie Crossing which is actually two train stations in one where two separate train lines intersect. (Train lines Milwaukee District North (more popular ) and North Central.) If your staying a few days make sure to get to the city at least once. It's very easy and weekends are discounted. Uber and Lyft both run out here. You are booking the entire house except the basement of which I occupy at times. I enter the basement through a private entrance and utilize no other areas of the property. The basement access door from inside the house is locked in both directions.

Firstly, I have to mention this is in a QUIET neighborhood. I don't rent out for big, loud parties. If that's what you're looking for, this is not the house for you.
